About

Lisa Paasche

I didn't set out to become an advisor or coach. I built a business.

Before founding EKTE Vision, I built and scaled Verve Search, one of Europe's leading SEO and digital PR agencies, from scratch.

What began as a small founder-led business grew into an internationally recognised agency with more than 50 people. We won over 50 industry awards, including Best SEO Agency three years running, and became known for pioneering a more creative approach to search and digital PR.

In 2017, I sold Verve Search to Omnicom Media Group and stayed on as CEO through the next stage of its growth.

That experience shaped everything I do now.

Because building a successful business isn’t only about having the right strategy.

It’s about people, leadership, culture, difficult decisions, financial pressure and the founder’s ability to evolve as the business grows.

I learned how to build a company people wanted to be part of. I also learned what happens when the success of the business comes at too high a personal cost.

After navigating a sale, an earn-out, a divorce and eventually burnout, I had to reconsider not only how I wanted to work, but how I wanted to lead and live.

It brought me back to something I had spent years trying to soften or suppress: my honesty, my directness and my inability to pretend that something is working when it isn’t.

What I had sometimes seen as a weakness became one of my greatest strengths.

EKTE (/ˈektə/) means real, genuine, authentic.

It reflects my belief that the strongest leaders are not those with the most polished answers. They are the ones willing to see their business clearly, confront what is no longer working and lead in a way that is genuinely aligned with who they are.

Today, I work with founders and leadership teams navigating the complexities of growth, change and founder dependency.

I combine the practical experience of building, scaling and selling a business with leadership development, psychology and neuroscience-informed coaching.

That means I can help leaders understand what is happening inside the business, while also recognising the patterns, behaviours and pressures that may be preventing meaningful change.

I don’t sit on the outside offering generic advice.

I work alongside founders and leadership teams to help them think more clearly, make better decisions and turn those decisions into lasting change.

Because when leadership is aligned and authentic, people feel it – and they follow.
